For anyone operating a wok2go takeaway franchise we guarantee to offer high levels of support. Quite simply, we will be on hand at all times to provide our knowledge and expertise to give you the best possible chance to run your wok2go restaurant successfully.
Ongoing, a continual marketing program will help you to drive both new customers and increased revenue from existing customers. Regular visits from the franchise manager will take place to share any issues that arise on revenue generating ideas. If ad hoc meetings are needed, these can be arranged at short notice and if you are not running the takeaway yourself, we will help you recruit the right individuals and train them to the same level.
A summary of the support we offer to our franchisees:-
Setting up a wok2go restaurant
Your first step in setting up your wok2go takeaway will be to attend an intense training course, managed by George Leung, that will last up to 8 weeks. During this training course you will be taught all that you need to know to successfully run your business.
Right from the beginning we will be there to help you find the right location, give advice on the lease, plan and fit the takeaway, supply all stock and put together a marketing plan. If you need to raise funding we'll help you to construct your business plan and, if you need it, introduce you to banks that have worked with us in the past.
Market and Advertising the wok2go brand
An important factor for the future success of your wok2Go franchise will be the sustained and consistent marketing activity. The marketing program will focus on 3 key areas: driving new customers to your takeaway, increasing revenue from existing customers and maintaining the best customer relationships in the industry. Some marketing activity will be focused either in store or in the vicinity of your store and once the Wok2go brand has established a national footprint, the intention is to follow with a national marketing plan.
Visits & Liaison
In addition to providing ongoing Head Office contact, a Franchise Manager will visit your business regularly in order to conduct operational reviews. Here we will take the opportunity to, amongst other things, specifically review your business plan and results to date, in order to help ensure that your business is on track. A report of each meeting will be copied to you, with any items requiring attention being expressly identified.
Regular Franchise Meetings
Our aim is to have regular Franchise meetings that will keep us all informed of major issues and new developments. These network meetings will be held as and when relevant. We wish to promote discussions with fellow Franchisees and an exchange of ideas is vital for our team development, sparking new thought and assisting with decisions on future policy.
As we develop, there will be an important slot at our meetings when we will learn of different Franchisees’ progress. An explanation of how you run your business will be gratefully received by us all, enabling us to learn of possible new ways and approaches, beneficial for our future advancement.

Benefits of Buying a wok2go Franchise
Good news for anyone considering investing in a business franchise in 2009. Despite the UK’s current economic problems the prospects for obtaining funding for franchise investments still appear to be positive.
Despite uncertainties and reports of a slowdown in the nation’s economy franchising in the UK has been shown to be going from strength to strength.
Research has indicated that a majority of people in the UK prefer to buy goods and services from franchised businesses.
When questioned a significant percentage of individuals stated that if given a choice between buying from a franchise or from a non-franchise business they would choose to buy the franchised brand.
The results of a latest survey have shown that UK entrepreneurs are increasingly opting for franchising when looking for new business opportunities.
In the last ten years the franchising industry has shown consistent growth and is now undoubtedly a significant part of the UK economy. In the last year the estimated economic contribution of franchises increased from £7 billion to £12.4 billion.
A recent survey carried out by NatWest has revealed that for a significant percentage of franchisees a major reason for buying a franchise is the advantage of being part of a ‘well known and established brand’.
The results should come as no surprise as it has long been established that business franchising has many brand related benefits. These advantages are commonly shared between franchise owners and franchisees.
